An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Estimator to join a well-established company in Skipton.

No previous estimating experience is required, as full training will be provided.

This role would suit someone with some previous office, administration, customer service or commercial experience who is organised, confident using IT and keen to learn something new.

About the Role

You’ll join a friendly and supportive Estimating Team of four, working closely with the Estimating Manager.

You’ll learn how to prepare quotations, process customer enquiries and support the wider sales and contracting teams, gaining valuable experience within a technical and commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming enquiries and customer requests.
  • Prepare quotation documentation.
  • Ensure quotations are completed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure enquiries are handled smoothly.
  • Maintain accurate information across internal systems.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Estimating Team.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is

  • Early in their career and keen to develop professionally.
  • Ideally has some previous office, administration, customer service or commercial experience.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and IT systems.
  • Organised, accurate and highly attentive to detail.
  • A confident communicator with a professional approach.
  • Positive, reliable and keen to learn.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small, supportive team.
