We’re currently recruiting for an experienced CAD Technician to join a well-established business in West Yorkshire.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Auto CAD experience who is looking to develop their career within a technical and engineering environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings, supporting projects from design through to installation.

Key responsibilities include

  • Producing detailed technical drawings using Auto CAD
  • Creating general arrangement, fabrication and installation drawings
  • Developing layouts and pipework routes
  • Updating drawings following design changes and site information
  • Working closely with engineers, project teams, suppliers and other stakeholders

About You

  • We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a CAD Technician, Mechanical Design or similar role.
  • Experience within HVAC, M&E, mechanical engineering or building services would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
  • Auto CAD experience is essential, while knowledge of Revit would be desirable.
