The Opportunity
In the role of Senior Health and Safety Advisor/ Business Partner for our Homes company, you will be invited to join a Health and Safety team. Dedicated to recognising the importance of Health and Safety across all Group business areas. Reporting into the Head of Health and Safety, the role will continue to develop the positive culture around Health and Safety that enhances behavioural awareness with the aim to minimise any accidents, incidents or near misses in all operations. The role is supported by an existing team who work with Operational teams and Managing Directors to ensure all activities undertaken are legally compliant through the policies and procedure in place. As part of the role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe place of work for yourself and all others, supporting and improving the investigation of accidents and incidents and providing health and safety leadership and support.
What We're Looking For
We believe in recruiting for potential as well as experience. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Essential
- (NEBOSH) General Certificate or (NEBOSH) Construction Certificate
- Experience as a Health and Safety practitioner
- Experience of interpreting Health and Safety legislation and regulation and advising management teams on potential business implications.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
- Experience of developing a positive Health and Safety Culture across the Group.
- Knowledge of current Housing Regulations
- An understanding of current Health and Safety regulation and legislation relevant to the range of companies
