Senior CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator

Job Specification Position: CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator Location: Keighley Company Overview: My client is a precision engineering company specialising in the production of bespoke, complex components for a diverse range of clients. Role Purpose: The CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery with a primary focus on the recently installed CMZ TTL66 Twin Access Twin Spindle machine. The role involves working on a variety of small batch production runs, supporting the development of an apprentice engineer, and ensuring the operation and maintenance of older machinery on the shop floor. Key Responsibilities: * Program, set, and operate the CMZ TTL66 Twin Access Twin Spindle machine. * Train and mentor, an apprentice engineer, supporting their technical development. * Learn to operate, maintain, and eventually train others on legacy CNC machines (30+ years old) currently overseen by a soon-to-retire colleague. * Use SolidCam (within SolidWorks) for programming CNC jobs, prior experience advantageous. * Co…
