Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people? We\’re looking for a Senior Residential Childcare Worker to join a nurturing, trauma-informed children\’s home where every child is given the chance to thrive, grow, and feel truly valued.

You\’ll be part of a dedicated team providing structured, compassionate care for children affected by trauma. Your role will involve supporting them through positive role modelling, consistent boundaries, and meaningful opportunities – helping them build confidence, independence, and brighter futures.

What You\’ll Do

  • Providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing home environment.
  • Advocating for each child\’s needs, rights, and aspirations.
  • Leading by example and supporting staff to deliver exceptional care.
  • Encouraging skill development, problem-solving, and life skills.
  • Maintaining high safeguarding and quality standards.
  • Supervising staff and overseeing key working responsibilities.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a senior role within children\’s residential care.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice.
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) essential.
