Why this role exists To deliver high quality responsive building repairs in our customer’s homes and neighbourhoods, ensuring repairs are completed right first time to achieve high levels of satisfaction in the repairs service. How this role will deliver success • All repairs will be completed to a high standard, with the minimum of supervision and within the correct priority timeframes, this will assist in achieving KPI relating to the repair service. • Adhere to the materials ordering and van stock control procedures, to enable financial control. • Ensuring all completed work as detailed on each works order, so to minimise follow on work, ensuring the customer’s repair is completed right first time. • Have the ability to prioritise your work on a daily basis to ensure all customer appointments are met, delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. • Maximising use of your personal device to the standards as instructed, to ensure the effective communication of job completions. • Maintain a professional manner whilst completing repairs to a high standard, and being respectful in our customer’s homes, this in return will contribute to overall customer satisfaction levels. Activities you will carry out within this role • To deliver high quality responsive building repairs in our customer’s homes and neighbourhoods, ensuring repairs are completed right first time to achieve high levels of satisfaction in the repairs service. • To work alongside other colleagues in the repairs service to problem solve and take responsibility for issues arising that could lead to delays or additional repairs needing to be carried out. • Being proactive in identifying areas for improvement and provide constructive feedback in steps to be taken to improve the responsive repair service. • To engage and participate within company activities and make a positive contribution. • Engaging with the company’s corporate activities. What you need to be successful in this role Knowledge (Essential) • General knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and safe working practices. • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team without supervision. • Ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
