The Role

This role sits within an award winning homelessness project delivering short term supported accommodation to individuals and couples experiencing homelessness and complex needs. As a Complex Needs Keyworker, you will provide housing management and trauma informed, person centred support to residents. The focus is on breaking the cycle of repeat homelessness and supporting individuals to move towards sustainable independent living.

You will:

  • Deliver one to one keywork sessions and facilitate group activities
  • Develop and review personalised support and risk management plans
  • Complete referrals, needs assessments and dynamic risk assessments
  • Address behaviours to prevent eviction using trauma informed approaches
  • Support residents to build life skills and prepare for move on
  • Liaise with external agencies to coordinate multi agency support
  • Attend and contribute to multi agency meetings
  • Manage safeguarding concerns and de escalate incidents
  • Complete housing management duties including welfare checks, building checks and reporting repairs
  • Maintain clear, factual and timely case records
  • Support residents to understand licence agreements, rights and responsibilities

Success in this role will be measured by positive resident engagement, meaningful support plans, safe move on outcomes and clear evidence of impact through accurate records.
