Rotherwood Cares are currently recruiting experienced Youth Support Workers to support young people aged 16-18 within a supported accommodation service in Kirkby.
This service supports 3 young people, helping them develop independence, confidence and essential life skills as they prepare for adulthood.
The Role:
- Providing practical and emotional support to young people
- Encouraging independence and positive decision-making
- Supporting with daily living skills and routines
- Promoting wellbeing, safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Building professional and positive relationships
- Completing support notes and handovers
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people, supported accommodation, residential childcare or care settings
- Knowledge of safeguarding and professional boundaries
- A compassionate, resilient and reliable approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
