Deputy Care Manager – Nursing Griston, Norfolk | £50,000 per annum | Permanent We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Care Manager (Clinical) to support the Home Manager in the delivery of safe, compassionate and high-quality nursing care within a well-established care service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NMC Registered Nurse looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in clinical leadership, governance and the day-to-day running of the home. The Role * Support the Home Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the service. * Provide strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams. * Ensure care delivery meets CQC standards, legislation and best practice. * Lead and support clinical audits, care plan reviews and medication management. * Mentor, supervise and develop nurses and care staff. * Complete pre-admission assessments, risk assessments and ongoing reviews. * Promote safeguarding and ensure appropriate referral pathways are followed. * Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies. * Take responsibility for the clinical running of the home in the Home Manager’s absence. * Promote person-centred care, dignity, choice and independence. About You * Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager / Deputy Care Manager. * NMC Registered Nurse – essential. * Strong working knowledge of CQC requirements and clinical governance. * Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. * Experience with care planning, medication, safeguarding and clinical audits. * A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred nursing care.
