About the Role:

Rotherwood Cares are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Assistants to support vulnerable adults within their own homes across Calderdale and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about person centred care and supporting people to maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life within the community. You will be supporting service users with daily living tasks, personal care, emotional wellbeing, medication support, and community based activities, ensuring care is delivered safely and in line with individual care plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a genuine difference within your local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality person centred care within service users' homes.
  • Support with personal care including washing, dressing, grooming, and continence care.
  • Assist with medication administration and prompting.
  • Support with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
  • Provide companionship and emotional reassurance.
  • Assist with light household duties where required.
  • Maintain accurate daily records and documentation.
  • Promote independence, dignity, safeguarding, and wellbeing at all times.
