Rotherwood Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Dispersed Housing Support Worker on behalf of a well-established organisation supporting vulnerable adults across Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping people achieve and maintain independent living. This is a community-based role, supporting individuals living in dispersed accommodation across Preston, with regular travel to Chorley, Leyland and Fleetwood. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

The Role

As a Dispersed Housing Support Worker, you will manage your own caseload, providing practical and emotional support to individuals with a range of complex needs. You will help customers develop independent living skills, sustain their tenancy and access the services they need to move forward positively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of clients living in dispersed accommodation.
  • Complete support, needs and risk assessments.
  • Develop and review person-centred support plans.
  • Carry out regular welfare visits and property inspections.
  • Support clients to develop independent living and budgeting skills.
  • Assist with accessing benefits, healthcare, education and employment.
  • Liaise with housing providers, local authorities and other agencies.
