We are looking for a skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join their team and contribute to the development of their existing and bespoke products. Role Overview: As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs, detailed layouts, and costed bills of materials for our product range. Your role will involve collaboration with internal teams and customers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Develop new product designs and produce detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings using SolidWorks. * Create costed bills of materials, including the evaluation and selection of components and systems to optimize performance and cost. * Liaise closely with sales teams and customers to ensure designs meet client specifications. * Provide fully costed estimates using in-house data and external resources. * Evaluate and improve existing components and systems for enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
