Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your career in procurement and contracts management? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts and Procurement Officer to join our team in Burnley.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the delivery of procurement processes in line with organisational policies and regulations.

*

Preparing and managing tender documentation, contracts, and supplier agreements.

*

Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong working relationships.

*

Ensuring compliance with procurement legislation and best practice.

*

Assisting with contract negotiations and identifying opportunities for cost savings and value for money.

The Value of This Role

The role will support the Facilities Contracts Managers for Soft FM and M&E to procure and manage contracts, with the onboarding and management of suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance and successful contract delivery.

Activities Involved in This Role

Analysing data and carrying out research to present information to support procurement decisions.

Supporting a wide range of procurement processes, including the conduct of tenders and customer engagement.

Assisting with the development of procurement data, documentation and activities including the use of procurement tools.

Ensuring procurement and contract management systems and databases are managed, maintained and that information is cleansed for accurate reporting.

Supporting with supplier and contractor engagement across a variety of stages within the procurement process.

Assisting with supplier and contractor sourcing and their onboarding and compliance management.

Supporting contract management activities and providing data to assist with supplier and contractor reviews.

Supporting all contract management activities including implementation, exit and transition.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

Experience or knowledge of procurement and contract management (public sector experience desirable but not essential).

Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

A proactive and solution-focused approach to work.
