Care Home Deputy Manager (Nursing) Location: Downham Market, Norfolk Salary: £55,000 per year Hours: Days Contract: Permanent Closing Date: 18/09/2025 Essential Requirements * NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post-registration experience. * Previous Deputy Home Manager experience. * Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. * In-depth knowledge of safeguarding pathways and CQC standards. * Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop care teams. * Experience building strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and professionals. The Role As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, leading and mentoring staff, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. You will also take full responsibility for the home in the Home Manager’s absence. Key responsibilities include: * Overseeing and supporting care teams to provide exceptional nursing care. * Conducting pre-admission assessments and updating care plans. * Driving best practice in safeguarding and compliance. * Delivering staff training and professional development. * Fostering a safe, person-centred environment for residents.
