Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting a Maths Teacher for a full-time position based in the Skipton area. This position is due to start ASAP, and is full-time and ongoing until Easter 2026.
As a Maths Teacher, the applicant will be expected to take part in any necessary activities/ duties of a permanent teacher such as planning and preparing lessons, parents evening and staff meetings.
Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:
- Have previous experience teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4
- Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management
- Support students in achieving their full potential
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Plan and assess students' progress in line with the curriculum
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the learning experience
- Parents evenings if required
Requirements of Maths Teacher:
- Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Hold a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for a new one
