Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and reliable Site Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive school in the Burnley area. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and is due to start in September 2026. - Hourly Rate: £13.47 - £14.59 per hour (dependant on experience)
About the Role:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring the premises remain safe, secure and well maintained.
- Supervise and organise the work of the caretaking and cleaning team.
- Act as a keyholder, carrying out opening and closing procedures and responding to emergency call-outs where required.
- Carry out routine maintenance, first-line repairs and basic DIY tasks.
- Monitor maintenance issues, arrange contractors where necessary and oversee completed works.
- Ensure the heating, lighting and other building systems are operating efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the school site and ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Prepare the premises for school events, lettings and extracurricular activities.
