Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join a well-established and supportive Primary school in the Burnley area. The position is full time, 5 days per week, due to start in September 2026 and is an ongoing long term role.
Position Details:
- Location: Burnley, Lancashire
- Start Date: September 2026 - Ongoing, Long Term
- Contract Type: Full-time, 5 days per week, 8.15am – 4pm (One day to have a 3.45pm finish)
- Daily Rate: £80 – £100 per day (dependant on experience)
About the Role:
- Ensure any barriers to learning are identified and overcome.
- Work closely with staff and alongside children and their families, providing high quality care, advice and support.
- Work with children and families across the whole school; from a variety of backgrounds.
- Be committed to pastoral care and collaborative working.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a relevant NVQ level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
- Be confident when communicating with a variety of professionals in different contexts including face to face meetings.
- Spend time working with children in their classrooms when required.
- Have experience of working with children and families within EYFS, KS1 and KS2 mainstream schools.
