Rotherwood Education are looking to recruit a highly motivated Art Teacher to join a forward thinking, vibrant high school in the Keighley area. This position is set to start ASAP and is permanent. As a full-time Art Teacher, the applicant will be expected to take part in any necessary activities/ duties of a permanent member of staff including planning and parent's evenings if required.
Position Details:
- Location: Keighley
- Start Date: May 2026, Permanent
- Contract Type: Full-time, 5 days per week
- Daily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68 per day
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities
- Monitor and support student progress through meaningful assessment and feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives
The successful Art Teacher will:
- Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS or QTLS
- Have previous experience teaching Art to KS5.
- Be an excellent, inspirational teacher with strong classroom management
- Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history
- Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
- Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
- Be willing to complete a face-to-face registration and satisfy several checks
