About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Childcare and Education Lecturer to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role in supporting learners to reach their full potential and progress onto further study or employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, session plans, teaching resources, and assessment plans.
- Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding in Early Years, Childcare, and Education.
- Motivate and inspire learners to achieve targets and develop skills for progression.
- Maintain and update subject knowledge and vocational expertise.
- Provide high-quality feedback through planning and marking to support learner development.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE).
- Possess a relevant highest-level vocational qualification or degree in your teaching subject.
- Have recent experience delivering FE courses in Childcare, Early Years and Education. PGCE teaching placements/experience also considered.
- Demonstrate active, differentiated teaching styles to meet learner needs.
- Have knowledge and experience in Childcare, Early Years and Education, with the ability to support all learners in achieving their goals.
