The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature, alongside the ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities * Planning and delivering engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum. * Teaching English Language and Literature across relevant key stages. * Supporting students to develop their reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills. * Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback. * Maintaining effective classroom management and promoting positive behaviour. * Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with varying abilities. * Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student development and achievement. Essential Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. * Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature. * Previous experience teaching within a secondary school setting. * Confident classroom and behaviour management skills. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
