Are you a passionate Art Teacher seeking your next rewarding teaching opportunity? Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a well-established and supportive Secondary school in the Accrington area. This role is 5 days per week, and due to start ASAP and is ongoing.
Position Details:
- Location: Accrington, Lancashire
- Start Date: ASAP, Ongoing
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Daily Rate: £168.80 – £215.68 per day (dependant on experience)
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Plan and prepare high-quality lessons tailored to a range of learning abilities
- Monitor and support student progress through meaningful assessment and feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Be confident in planning and delivering creative and inclusive lessons
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Be committed to inspiring young people and improving outcomes for all learners
- Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
- Provide details of last 2 latest references, covering the last 5 years’ work history
- Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
- Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks
