Job Summary: Following a retirement, we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a strategic, self-motivated and experienced CCAB qualified Finance Business Partner to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping and delivering high-quality Finance Business Partnering solutions that support the Council’s priorities and drive organisational success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a Finance team and provide high-level financial advice, guidance and support to the Housing Service including the Council’s Housing Revenue Account (HRA).
- Support the Head of Finance in the delivery of work programmes jointly set by the Executive Director - Adult Care, Housing and Public Health and the Executive Director - Corporate Services.
- Implement financial strategies to support transformation across the Housing service.
- Report to the Head of Finance (ACH&PH) and sit within the Corporate Services directorate.
Qualifications:
- CCAB qualified accountant.
- Excellent management and leadership qualities.
- Experience in finance business partnering (or relevant experience).
