Salary Band F £28,598 - £31,022 FTE, actual salary £26,288.16 - £28,516.38.

Contract: Permanent, Full Time. Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time (38 weeks) plus 2 Inset days, plus additional 13 days. Start Date: ASAP.

We are currently seeking a Pastoral Leader who will support school staff and subject areas by allowing effective teaching and learning to take place in lessons. The Pastoral Leader will lead and manage the delivery of pastoral support for an allocated Year Group, maintain accurate records, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring timely and effective actions. The successful candidate will work within a strong Pastoral team to develop and monitor strategies and procedures for improving and maintaining student behaviour and conduct.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead pastoral support for an allocated Year Group.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor strategies for improving student behaviour and conduct.
  • Support staff in pedagogical delivery to enhance teaching and learning.

Key qualifications and skills:

  • GCSE passes in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
  • Competence in numeracy, literacy and ICT.
