b Overview /b p In this senior leadership role, you will steer two critical Service Director portfolios within Regeneration Environment to shape frontline services. You will work with elected members, partners and communities to deliver safe, attractive and sustainable environments across Rotherham. You will drive continuous improvement, transformational change and resilient service delivery in partnership with cross-functional teams. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence how the council protects residents and enhances public spaces. You will lead at scale, shaping strategy and operations in a dynamic, public-service setting. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead complex regulatory and public protection services across a broad portfolio /li li Drive transformation while maintaining service quality and resilience /li li Build and sustain cross-agency partnerships with police, health, businesses and communities /li li Oversee risk management and regulatory compliance within frontline services /li li Provide strategic and operational leadership for Street Scene, Waste, Fleet and Highways /li li Drive service excellence, innovation and modernisation across infrastructure and public realm /li li Develop long-term plans and ensure efficient, value-for-money delivery /li li Influence decision-making through evidence, insight and professional expertise /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Senior leadership experience in regulatory, enforcement, public protection or related environments /li li Strong understanding of legislative and regulatory frameworks /li li Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and manage substantial budgets /li li Track record of delivering complex frontline services /li li Ability to build partnerships with multiple agencies and stakeholders /li li Experience in driving transformational change while maintaining service quality /li /ul ul li collaborative leadership /li li stakeholder management /li li influencing and negotiation /li li regulatory and enforcement expertise /li li public protection and community safety knowledge /li li risk management /li /ul
