- Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only + training days.
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: Level 1 – NJC4 £18,255 pro rata (£26,017 FTE); Level 3 – £19,137–£19,325 pro rata (£27,257–£27,542 FTE)
Responsibilities
- Follow the direction of teachers and support lesson delivery.
- Assist with preparing classroom materials and resources.
- Work independently with individual children and small groups, fostering positive relationships.
- Support children with complex needs, including autism spectrum conditions, attachment difficulties, and developmental trauma.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of lessons in a creative and positive setting.
- Maintain a strong safeguarding culture, listening to and respecting pupils’ views.

- Significant experience working with complex young people in an educational setting.
- Understanding of therapeutic approaches for children with complex needs.
- Good levels of resilience, motivation, and personal qualities aligned with the Trust’s values.
