Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, communication and interaction, learning and pastoral needs.
- Assist pupils in accessing education, engaging positively with school life and making progress within a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
- Work under the direction of teaching and inclusion staff to provide targeted support for individual pupils and groups, removing barriers to learning.
- Promote emotional wellbeing and support positive engagement across the school.
Eligibility / Qualifications
- Preferred experience and skills include:
- Experience working with young children, particularly in a nursery or primary setting.
- Understanding of SEND and SEMH needs and strategies to support them.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
- Commitment to the Catholic faith and inclusive education values.
