Salary: £32,061 - £34,434 Pro Rata includes weekend working, Enhancements paid for weekend and Bank holiday working (Pay award pending).
Directorate: Adult Care, Housing & Public Health
Permanent, Part time, 30 hours per week, £16.62 per hour, includes weekend working to provide cover at the home.
Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia. The home also provides hospital avoidance beds.
Applicants ideally need experience in a social care setting and have Level 5 Qualification e.g. Diplomas of HE and FE foundation degrees and HNDs plus experience in relevant areas of work over a period of years.
Shift Leaders are expected to:
- Contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment that meets CQC Fundamental Standards of Care.
- Maintain health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles.
- Contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible regarding all customer needs.
- Ensure person centred plans and risk assessments are carried out to the required standard.
- Work and support the night care staff on shift across all units.
Lord Hardy Court operates a shift system on a rota basis, which includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required for leave and sickness.
This post involves working with adults and therefore if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at an enhanced level.
