The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, committed and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated staff team. The main purpose of the role is to contribute to the educational needs and personal, social and emotional development of all children including those with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to all pupils’ care and welfare needs.
  • Work under the direction and instruction of Teaching Staff or Higher Level Teaching Assistants to enable access to learning for all pupils.
  • Provide general support in the management of pupils within the school environment.

Requirements:

  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Willing to work as a team and use own initiative.
  • Previous experience of working with children and Teaching Assistant qualifications are required.
