Rotherham Music provides music education to more than 3,000 children and young people each week across a range of musical disciplines for both in and out of school education. Alongside its provision for children and young people, the service also supports a range of community music programmes from its Mini Melodies programme for pre‑school children and its annual Signals music festival.
Rotherham Music is looking for a full time piano tutor to deliver lessons in local schools and at our after school music centres.
Our ideal team members would have:
- Experience of providing musical activities to children and young people in schools and settings.
- Experience of developing resources to support a music education programme.
- Experience of lesson planning, assessment and reporting.
- Ability to lead collaborative music activities for a variety of audiences.
