An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of a Management Support Assistant to support Service Directors within the Council. As a Management Support Assistant, you will provide confidential, high level administrative and secretarial support. This is a varied and fast-paced role where you will manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, prepare key documents, take minutes, and monitor multiple inboxes. You will also track correspondence and actions and ensure deadlines are met.
The key responsibilities for a Management Support Assistant are:
- Full comprehensive secretarial support to the Service Director and occasionally the wider team.
- Diary Management for the Service Director including scheduling and maintaining appointments.
- Meeting Coordination: Arranging internal/external meetings, preparing papers, taking minutes and compiling action logs.
- Inbox Management: Monitoring multiple inboxes and responding promptly.
- Correspondence Tracking: Logging, tracking, and chasing internal and external correspondence to ensure timely responses.
- Travel Arrangements: Organising travel and accommodation for meetings/events.
