Job description

Location: Arnold Nursery School

Job Term: Post 1: Temporary, term time only, 32.5 hours (Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm)

Post 2: Permanent, term time only, 17.5 hours (Monday to Friday 12 noon- 3.30pm)

Start date: ASAP until 31 st August 2027

Closing date: 3 rd September 2026 at 12 noon.

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Early Years Practitioner to work within our Early Years Provision.

You will have successfully completed an NVQ level 3 in Early Childhood Studies and have experience of caring for children aged 0-4, providing high quality play and learning opportunities.

You will work with parents/carers and professionals from a range of services to ensure the best possible start for young children and will work well in a team and have responsibility for key children.

The post involves working with children and therefore if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records at an enhanced level. Further information about the Disclosure Scheme can be found at www.gov.uk/government/organisations/disclosure-and-barring-service
