Salary Leadership 26 to 30 (£95,735 to £105,595 per annum).

Job Description

  • Provide strategic oversight of educational standards across the Trust’s primary phase, ensuring high‑quality teaching, curriculum and assessment.
  • Support and challenge academy leaders to deliver sustained improvement across primary schools.
  • Drive development of early reading, phonics, writing and mathematics foundations.
  • Lead data‑driven monitoring, informed support and timely intervention to secure strong outcomes for all pupils, including disadvantaged and SEND students.
  • Maximise the potential of staff by developing leadership capacity and embedding the Trust’s values.
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration and shared accountability across the Trust.
  • Engage with Principals, senior leaders, teachers, Governors, Trustees and external partners to translate strategy into classroom impact.
  • Represent the Trust with credibility and professionalism, contributing to collaborative networks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Outstanding strategic educational leader with substantial senior leadership experience in primary education.
  • Strong track record of securing school improvement and a passion for high‑quality teaching and learning.
  • Expertise in curriculum, assessment and key drivers of success across the primary phase.
  • Visible and influential with the ability to build trust quickly and work effectively with academy teams.
  • Confident leader capable of challenging, supporting and developing others to strengthen capacity and sustainability.
  • Committed to strong outcomes for all pupils, especially disadvantaged and SEND students.
  • Analytical and evidence‑informed, able to evaluate performance, identify priorities and use data to guide improvement.
  • Collaborative and system‑mindful, able to foster partnerships while respecting each academy’s identity.
