Davies Court is a residential care unit based in Dinnington. This is a 60 bedded unit delivering two services, Dementia care and intermediate care (rehabilitation). As a home, we pride ourselves in providing our residents with the best possible care to enable them to lead a positive and independent life. We operate a person-centred approach and work closely with our residents, families, and other agencies to provide the best possible care.

We offer a friendly and supportive work environment, and we are looking for individuals who want to be part of a caring and supportive enabling team to work with NHS therapy staff to assist clients who have been transferred to us from hospital to reach their potential and aim to return home in the community. Requirements:
  • Experience/understanding of the social and emotional needs of individuals and how to best meet those needs
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent and clear communication skills, demonstrate empathy, and be able to listen and understand individual circumstances and needs
  • Practical person with the ability to identify and solve day-to-day problems
  • Understanding of Safeguarding
  • Understanding of Health and Safety, the safe handling of medications, and a good basic first aid knowledge
  • NQF Level 2 qualification e.g. GCSEs Grades D-G, NVQs Level 2/3, GNVQs Foundation, City and Guilds Part 1 or evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience
