Permanent, part time, 20 hours per week, term time only. An opportunity has arisen for a Data Quality Assistant, who will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of data in our Education Management System. This is a permanent post based at Riverside House, Rotherham working 20 hours per week, term-time only.
Responsibilities
- liaising with colleagues in Children and Young People’s Services and schools within Rotherham
- processing files and inputting/merging of data
- providing support to staff in schools
- liaising with Technical Support staff to resolve issues
- resolving discrepancies with the data and dealing with any queries arising from these in line with data quality standards and procedures
- issuing and co-ordinating the return of an Annual Contact Form for all schools and updating the Education Management System upon return
Qualifications and Experience
- have strong proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- understand data protection (GDPR) and secure data handling
- have experience in administrative roles and customer service
- be able to work independently and as part of a team
- hold an NQF Level 2 qualification or have equivalent work experience
Shortlisting will take place week commencing 22nd June 2026 and interviews will be held on 30th June 2026. We will have access to the Public Services Network, if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at the Basic level (unspent criminal convictions).
