About the role:

We are looking for a childcare team solicitor to make a difference to the lives of the people of Rotherham. Now is the time to join our committed and forward-thinking Legal Team at Rotherham Borough Council. Building on the success of our current team, we are seeking motivated, committed and driven individuals to work with us. This role is based at our modern head office which will allow you to perform to your very best. You'll have our full support throughout your work in an environment in which you can thrive. This includes the opportunity to develop your professional expertise across a breadth of casework, which will primarily include Children Act matters.

About you:

It is important that you will be a qualified solicitor, have at least 3 years of PQE in conducting public law children proceedings. Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship building skills are required. In this role you will need to use your initiative, be flexible and driven to deliver an excellent high-quality service; demonstrating a real commitment to the role and the Legal Services Team.
