Overview
In this role you join our lunchtime team to help create a safe, fun and inclusive lunch period for all children. You will support activities in the dining hall and on the playground, promoting positive behaviour and friendly interactions. The role offers a chance to influence children’s lunchtime experiences within a supportive school culture focused on safeguarding and wellbeing. It’s a good fit if you enjoy working with children and can act with initiative in a busy environment.

Responsibilities
- Support children during lunch in the dining hall and on the playground
- Promote positive behaviour and help children build positive relationships
- Organise and lead a range of playground activities and games
- Support inclusion of all children regardless of background or needs
- Demonstrate patience, empathy and understanding in interactions with children
- Communicate effectively with children and staff
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Remain calm and vigilant to ensure safety and wellbeing
