Highwoods Academy is currently looking for two teachers to join our team from November 2026. You will be passionate about teaching, committed to ensuring each pupil achieves their potential, with high standards of both yourself, pupils and colleagues. A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and an interest in professional development, research-based practice and life-long learning.
What we are looking for in applicants is:
- An outstanding classroom practitioner
- Excellent classroom behaviour management and assessment skills
- The ability to engage and enthuse pupils through creative approaches to teaching & learning within a primary setting
- Excellent planning and preparation that meets the needs of all pupils
- Good communication skills
