Location: Sheep Dip Lane Academy, Dunscroft, Doncaster, DN7 4AU

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2027, Full Time (32.5 hours per week)

Salary: £22,601 - £35,259 per annum

Position: Temporary Unqualified Teacher in the Early Years Team. Possibility of a permanent contract subject to training towards Qualified Teacher Status.

As a temporary Unqualified Teacher you will step into a thriving classroom, maintaining the learning and progress of pupils and bringing your unique spark to their learning journey. You will work alongside experienced staff within the Early Years Team to support children in developing confident, enthusiastic, and independent learners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate teaching aligned with early years curriculum objectives.
  • Monitor pupil progress and support individualized learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and routines to promote a safe and supportive atmosphere.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities offered by the Trust.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for early years education and a desire to inspire young learners.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Willingness to undertake training towards Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Eligible for an enhanced DBS certificate and Children’s Barred List Check.
