About the Role
The Activities Coordinator works as part of the Wellbeing Activities service to plan and deliver meaningful activities that enhance quality of life for patients and families. The post holder organises and facilitates individual and group activities across the Inpatient Unit and Supportive Care services, and, where appropriate, in other hospice or community settings. This includes social, creative, recreational and seasonal activities that reflect people’s interests, abilities and cultural backgrounds. The Activities Coordinator works closely with the Wellbeing Activities Manager, Complementary Therapist, Hairdresser, volunteers and clinical teams to make sure activities are well co-ordinated, safe and person centred, in line with Living Life’s Wishes.
