Band 6 RMN – Home Treatment Team

We are looking to recruit a Band 6 qualified RMN into our Home Treatment team. The service is an alternative to hospital admission and facilitates early discharge from acute inpatient wards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Home Treatment care seven days a week 9am-7pm.
  • Cover crisis team shifts operating throughout a 24‑hour period, including night shifts.
  • Assess and manage complex situations, working well under pressure.
  • Liaise with families to support their understanding of crisis management.
  • Collaborate with partner organisations, peer support services and third sector agencies.

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered with relevant governing bodies.
  • Demonstrated confidence as a mental health practitioner with excellent assessment and risk‑management skills.

About the Service

Our Acute Directorate includes Crisis, Home Treatment and Hospital Liaison services with strong links to inpatient units, locality teams, partner agencies and third‑sector organisations. We are working towards accreditation and offer a strengths‑based and recovery‑based approach.
