The predicted salary is between 37338 - 44962 £ per year.
To provide a high-quality specialist ADHD service to patients and their families across RDASH services. The post holder will be a prescriber for assessment, initiation, titration and ongoing management of ADHD treatment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and management of adults with ADHD across the RDASH localities.
- Review with others the assessment and monitoring of adults identified with ADHD.
- Provide direct nursing judgement and treatment interventions based on skills and knowledge regarding clinical management and educational management of adults with ADHD.
- Exercise independent prescribing rights using guidelines and protocols.
- Ensure that the patient’s interests are fully considered within the context of care, actively participating in ethical decision making within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge of patients.
- Undertake risk assessments and risk management for individuals and their families.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues in relation to ADHD.
- Provide high quality support and advice to health and other professionals.
- Supervise the implementation and monitoring of new developments in ADHD.
- Promote and co-ordinate the implementation of shared care arrangements.
