We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Rotherham campus as a Lecturer in Further Education. The role involves teaching, student support, curriculum development and industry engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver courses at Level 3 T Levels, Level 3 BTEC, Level 4 (HNC) and Level 5 (HND) in Electrical Engineering.
- Implement current UK professional standards to ensure students are work‑ready.
- Monitor student progress, provide guidance and support to achieve timely completion.
- Build and maintain industry links to secure work experience and enrichment opportunities.
- Collaborate with curriculum managers, team leaders and other professionals to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 4 or above vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Significant industry experience and proven technical expertise.
- Teaching qualification and assessor award preferred; if not held, support will be provided to obtain them.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Level 2 English and Maths or commitment to achieve them.
