Interim Accountant in Wrexham

RotheramCarringtonFinancialRecruitment is working with a manufacturing company in Wrexham that requires an experienced accountant for up to 3 months, possibly longer. This role is on-site, working closely with the Factory Manager and other Directors across the business.

KeyResponsibilities

• Prepareandmaintainaccuratefinancialstatements,reports,andreconciliations.
• Manageaccountspayableandreceivableprocessestoensuretimelyandaccuratetransactions.
• Conductcostanalysisandassistindevelopingcostcontrolmeasures.
• Supportbudgeting,forecasting,andvarianceanalysisactivities.
• Reconcilebalancesheetaccountsandmaintaingeneralledgeraccuracy.
• Ensurecompliancewithfinancialregulations,internalpolicies,andaccountingstandards.
• Collaboratewithotherdepartmentstoprovidefinancialinsightandsupportbusinessplanning.
• Assistwithmonth-endandyear-endclosingprocesses.
• Utiliseaccountingsoftware(suchasSage,Xero,orQuickBooks)tomanageandanalysefinancialdata.
• Contributetoprocessimprovementswithinthefinancefunction.

QualificationsandExperience

• Relevantaccountingqualification(AAT,ACCA,CIMA,orequivalent),QualifiedbyExperience
• ProvenexperienceasanAccountantorinasimilarfinancerole.
• Strongunderstandingoffinancialandmanagementaccountingprinciples.
• Experienceincostaccountingormanufacturing/productionenvironmentsisadvantageous.
• Proficiencyinaccountingsoftware(e.g.,Sage,Xero,QuickBooks).
• Excellentanalyticalandproblem-solvingskills.
• Highattentiontodetailandaccuracyinfinancialreporting.
• Strongcommunicationandinterpersonalskills.

Salary/Benefits

• £35,000 to £55,000 per annum (daily rate/FTC) possibly up to £60k
