This forward-thinking engineering company with a proud heritage and a focus on innovation, quality, and collaboration, are looking to recruit this job, due to their continued growth. This Transactional Finance Assistant joins an established finance team and will support the day-to-day running of the accounts function.

Your new job:

Processing and maintaining purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions

Handling supplier and customer queries in a timely and professional manner

Supporting bank and account reconciliations

Assisting with credit control processes and reporting

Posting journals and preparing reports as required

Supporting month-end and year-end processes

Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations

Assisting ad hoc finance projects
Key experience:
-
Previous experience in a transactional finance role (accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, credit control)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Good Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software

A flexible, “can-do” attitude and a willingness to support wider finance team tasks

Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is beneficial but not essential
