This 6-month fixed-term contract offers the opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement activity within a leading organisation in the area.
Weβre looking for someone who can hit the ground running, work autonomously, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders. The role offers a hybrid working model, combining remote working with occasional on-site attendance.
Your new role:
- Draft and issue tender documents within tight timeframes
- Lead end-to-end tendering processes, from specification to contract award
- Evaluate bids and prepare tender analysis and award recommendations
- Write and review procurement content for bids and business cases
- Ensure compliance with the new Procurement Act and internal governance
- Review and assess existing frameworks for suitability in upcoming tenders
- Provide practical, professional procurement advice across the organisation
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in public-sector procurement, ideally in a regulated environment
- Confidence working independently and delivering under pressure
- Strong skills in drafting and issuing procurement documentation
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK procurement legislation, including the new Procurement Act
- Experience reviewing and utilising procurement frameworks effectively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- ACIPS qualification, or working towards one, is desirable
