Rotheram Carrington Financial Recruitmentis delighted to be partnering with a well-established FMCG organisation in Cheshire East to recruit a Qualified Finance Manager specialising in Financial Reporting.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and technically strong finance professional (ACA/ACCA qualified) who has gained experience in a larger business environment (circa £50m+ turnover) and is looking to step into a high-profile, value-adding role.
This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a highly regarded FMCG organisation while working closely with senior leadership and supporting strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of a wide range of financial reporting and leadership duties, including:
- Production of the monthly management accounts, including cost of sales, commission accruals, product costs, and prepaid stock/GRNI calculations.
- Delivering timely and insightful financial information to senior leadership and the sales team, supporting decision-making through weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Managing and coordinating the external audit process with external auditors
- Overseeing the relationship with the SSC Team, ensuring accounts payable and accounts receivable teams achieve targets and support wider working capital and cash management strategies.
- Preparing accurate weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Producing year-end statutory accounts, group reporting packs, and Tax packs.
- Responsible for managing the budget process for all products.
- Acting as a key deputy to the Financial Controller, providing technical expertise, complex analysis, and supporting finance-led projects to drive process improvements across the business.
Candidate Profile
- ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong technical accounting background.
- Experience gained in a larger-scale organisation (ideally £50m+ turnover).
- Strong financial reporting, statutory accounts, and audit management expertise.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to provide meaningful insight to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage and support transactional finance teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Salary/Benefits
- £55,000 to £65,000 per annum plus 10% bonus (based on personal performance)
- Hybrid working 2 days WFH
- 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
