RotheramCarrington Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a well-established fast paced organisation based near Chester, in their recruitment of an Finance Assistant. The post holder will report to Finance Controller and will assist the Finance team to the highest standard in all aspects and in the most efficient manner, with an all round focus on transactional and month end processes. Key responsibilities: Complete supplier application forms Set up suppliers to the accounts operating system Matching and coding of purchase orders to invoices Inputting Invoices Manage credit limits and payment days for suppliers Inputting and coding of business expenses Liaising with companies and employees with queries Recording of various financial data e.g. vehicle mileage etc. Statement reconciliation and supplier statement reconciliation Make supplier payments Perform bank reconciliations Accruals and Prepayments Sales ledger support Month end processes Credit control analysis Cash office General accounts administration Skills/Experience: Experience of Microsoft Office and accounts packages such as Sage 50 Well organised, able to manage time effectively and produce accurate, high quality work to tight time-scale Ability to remain calm an…
