Overview: Rotheram Carrington Financial Recruitment are exclusively working with an established, growing business in their recruitment of a Finance Administrator. This role will support the finance function, with a key focus on collating timesheets, responding to queries, and providing general administrative support across the department. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in finance and gain hands-on experience within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Timesheets & Payroll Support
- Collate, check, and process weekly/monthly timesheets accurately and within deadlines
- Liaise with employees and managers to resolve missing, incorrect, or late timesheets
- Act as a first point of contact for timesheet and payroll-related queries
- Support the payroll process by providing accurate and timely information to internal teams or external payroll providers
- Finance Administration
- Assist with day-to-day finance administration tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support the finance team with data entry, reconciliations, and reporting as required
- Respond to internal and external finance queries in a professional and timely manner
- General Support
- Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and finance procedures
- Support continuous improvement of finance processes where possible
Skills & Experience
- Essential
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Good organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable working with numbers and data
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
