The role requires excellent communication skills, strong Excel expertise, and the ability to work with management information to support the business in making better decisions.
Role purpose
Responsible forallcommercialreportingandanalysiscompletedbythefinanceteam.
Itwillinvolvedeliveringasuiteofsalesandmarginanalysisacrossmultiplerevenuestreams,providingkeyinsightsandvisibilitytoaiddecision-making,improveperformance,anddriveprofitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliversalesandmarginanalysisforallrevenuestreams,includingmanufacturedproductsandancillarytradedproducts
- Completemonthlyactualsreporting,contractanalysis,forecasting,andbudgetingprocessesforsalesandmargin
- Providecommercialreportingacrossseveralareas,including:
- Monthlyreportingonactualsalesandmarginperformance
- Analysisofdifferentsaleschannels(Retail,Sales,Group,Wholesale),consolidatingperformanceacrossthebusinessandidentifyingopportunitiestoimprovesalesvolumeandmargin.
- Weeklyandmonthlyreportingontradedproducts.
- Reporting and analysis around commercial sales contracts
- Supportingseasonalreportingrequirements,whichmaychangedependingonmarketconditions.
- Manageandsupportsalesforecastingprocessesonamonthlybasis.
- Manageandsupporttheannualbudgetingprocessforallrelevantproductcategories.
- Developnewreportingtomeetevolvingbusinessneeds,workingwithseniorleadersandsalesteamstobringmanagementinsightstolife.
- Continuouslyreviewandimprovereportingtoenhancedecision-making,salesperformance,andprofitability.
