This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic business and play a key role in delivering high-quality transactional finance support and progress your career in a growing finance function.

Must be able to drive & have own car to get to the destination 25-minute drive from Chester.

Your New Role:

  • Manage the Finance Department email inbox
  • Raise sales invoices in Sage for the UK & International markets
  • Carry out debtor control, including late payment chasing and escalation where required
  • Process medium volume purchase invoices, match and code to the correct ledger
  • Provide timely support and resolution to invoice queries
  • Prepare a weekly proposed payment run for the Finance Manager
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile sterling, dollar and euro credit accounts
  • Complete a monthly VAT report
  • Post journals into Sage as required
  • Support the Finance Department with any additional related tasks

What You Will Need For Your New Role:

  • Minimum of 4 years' recent experience in an accountancy role
  • Strong understanding of nominal ledger coding
  • Knowledge of VAT rules and principles
  • Knowledge of Sage Accounts, advantageous
  • Professional, discreet, and confident in communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail and numerate
  • Self-starter with the ability to use initiative and work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
